Here’s a roundup of some of the hotel deals that I’ve found or have crossed my inbox this week:

It seems like it’s been under construction forever, so it’s good to hear that the Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana is finally officially opening it’s doors this month. The massive project at the end of Kuta Beach seems like it’s been going for years. The press release says the location is on Legian Beach, but as it’s on Pantai Kuta road – albeit the end of it, I think of the location as Kuta. Such quibbles aside, the Pullman Bali looks like it could be a very enjoyable place to stay in the Kuta / Legian area. In addition to the hotel amenities, there’s a large retail component to the development.
Luxe resort chain Anantara is offering a special ‘extended stay’ rate at all of their properties across Asia and the Middle East. The offer varies from one resort to another, but most are stay four nights, pay for three. The offer is good for stays until 15 April 2011. See the Anantara web site for full details.
It seems like a lot of people have at least occasional dreams of getting away from it all on some deserted tropical isle. If you’re one of them, then here’s your chance to see if the island life is for you: Nikoi is a small island near Bintan in Indonesia, about an hour’s sail from Singapore. The island is privately owned, and currently has six beach houses available, and another nine on the way on a separate beach. You can reserve the whole island if you want, or just one of the beach houses. The web site is very informative, so check it out.
