Bangkok Art Galleries
Bangkok is home to several art galleries, both public and private. The map below shows the locations of many of them.

- Patravadi Theatre and Gallery
A short walk from the Wang Lung Pier is the beautiful contemporary theater complex of the Patravadi Theater complex. The theater company was established in 1992 by Patravadi Mejudhon, an award winning actress in movies, television and stage.
- Silpakorn University
Across from the old elephant gate to the Grand Palace is the small former palace of Wang Tha Phra, now used as the art gallery for the fine arts Silpakorn University.
- National Gallery
The National Gallery houses a rather uninspiring permanent collection, although the annual Art Market weekends are worth visiting if you're in Bangkok in February or March.
- The Queen's Gallery
The gallery built to commemorate H.M. the Queen of Thailand displays rotating exhibits as well as a branch of the queen's SUPPORT Foundation shops.
- Sriphiphat Art Gallery
Occupying a small building designed to look like a temple library on the grounds of the Princess Mother Memorial Park, this gallery displays a rotating exhibit of Thai photographers.
- H Gallery
The gallery is housed in a restored wooden house off Sathorn Road, H Gallery exhibits and sells contemporary Thai artists exclusively. The western owner 'H' is one of the few westerners with a detailed knowledge of Thai contemporary art.
- Rotunda Gallery
The Rotunda Gallery occupies the small rotunda (what else?) of the Neilson-Hayes library on Siriwongse Road. The rotating exhibits usually feature western artists resident in Thailand.
- Eat Me Art Restaurant
One of many 'art cafes' in Bangkok, Eat Me is off Convent Road near Silom. The restaurant frequently hosts openings for other galleries around town.
- Alliance Francaise
The French cultural center hosts exhibits by both Thai and French artists.
