I've been a bit remiss in updating this site lately. It's mostly because I've been distracted moving and updating my old travel sites under the AsiaForVisitors.com umbrella. That project is now complete. It brought back a lot of memories of my travels through Southeast Asia, which I thought I'd share here.

Shwedagon Pagoda is probably the spiritual heart of Burma (or Myanmar if you prefer). It stands on a hill near downtown Yangon, the former capital of the country. It's always teeming with visitors in traditional Burmese dress, saying prayers and making offerings in all the shrines that dot the plaza around the massive gilded pagoda.
