The Tumi Alpha Travel Organizer

As we're approaching the giving season, I thought I would give you some gifting ideas for the people in your life with itchy feet, for when they can start traveling again. There are very few brands that I would actually consider myself “loyal” to, and Tumi luggage is one of them. Everything I've ever had of theirs has been built tough, and I've never actually ever worn a piece out. Yes, they're expensive, but they're worth it, since they will last a lifetime, and you can often find them on sale.

My current favorite piece is the Alpha 3 Travel Tote. It's the perfect “personal item” size second carry-on and holds just about everything I'll need at the airport as well as on the flight. It has lots of pockets with organizers, so there are places to keep your passport, pens, tablet, phone, glasses, medications, and much more. Yet it's small enough to go under the seat in front of me and still leave room to stretch my legs.
