Black and White - Denver Area

April 13, 2021

I'm delving into my newly scanned archives from the 1980s for another post. Shortly after acquiring my first SLR camera I experimented with black and white. All of these photos were taken in the Denver area in 1985 or 1986 when I was there for work. I definitely liked the results, but I didn't do much more with black and white again. It also feels like these negatives aged a little better than the color ones.

I have a feeling most, if not all, of these places are long gone and no longer exist, so now they're on the web for posterity.

This rather put me in mind of the Bates Motel.
